Q. 1I'm interested in one of the job ads displayed on www.FindaJobinJapan.jp. How do I apply for it?
.If you are not a member, click on the button at the bottom of the job ad and follow the prompts. You can send your resume to the employer online after you become a member.
Q. 2What do I need to do to become a member?
.Just fill out our registration form. You can also upload a photo to increase your chance of getting contacted by employers, but bear in mind, this can also be done at any time after you register.
Q. 3I'm having trouble uploading my photo. What should I do?
.If you can't upload your photo, e-mail it to js5[at]findajobinjapan.jp . Please note that [at] has to be changed to @ when you e-mail us. Make sure you include your registered email address so we know who it is from.
Q. 4When will my resume be displayed to be viewed by employers, and where?
.Usually within 48 hours after your registration. You will also receive a confirmation e-mail once your resume is online and ready to be viewed by employers. If it is going to be delayed, the email message you will receive right after your registration tells you about it. Your resume will be displayed on www.GaikokujinKyujin.com .
Q. 5How do I contact employers? Do they contact me first?
.Employers look at your resume and if they are interested, they e-mail you a message using the mailing form in the members' section and you can reply to them. Instead of waiting for e-mails from employers, you can search for a job on www.FindaJobinJapan.jp and send your resume online. If they are interested, they will contact you using the mailing form in the members' section. If the employer is our regular member, it probably won't take long before they get back to you. However, if they are new to our service, it may take as long as a week because they need to go through some procedures to become our regular member in order to e-mail jobseekers.
Q. 6How do I enter the members' section?
.You can enter the members' section by clicking the ''Members'' button on the HomePage of FindaJobinJapan.jp using your login ID and password.
Q. 7What should I do if I lose my password?
.Click here, enter your registered e-mail address in the textbox at the "E-mail Address." You will receive an e-mail, so please read it and follow the prompts.
Q. 8I need to change my registered e-mail address to a new one. Also, I want to make some changes in my resume. What should I do?
.Go to the members' section and you can update your resume. You can change your registered e-mail address to a new one using the update form. The changes will be reflected within 48 hours.
Q. 9I forget which companies I sent my resume. Is there an archive?
.Go to the members' section , click on the "Job Information" link at the top, click the on "Job Folder / Send Your Resume to an Employer" link and you will see the "Job Folder." The names of companies you sent your resume are listed in the "Job Folder."
Q. 10I'm a member, but I want to block my resume from being viewed for the time being. Should I delete my resume?
.You don't have to delete your resume. You can temporarily deactivate your resume through the members' section at any time. Click on "Your Resume" on the top menu of the member page, click on the "Deactivate/Reactivate Your Resume"link and follow the instructions. You can always reactivate your resume on the same page.
Q. 11How can I end my membership?
.To permanently remove your resume and end your membership, click on "Your Resume" on the top menu of the member page, click on "Delete Your Resume" and follow the instructions. You are always welcome to come back and re-register.
